Acoustix Hearing was founded in October 2004 and is a New Zealand privately owned hearing clinic with a very strong emphasis on product knowledge, service excellence and customer care.
We have three main areas of focus, hearing technology, hearing assessment and hearing protection, where we undertake to provide the very best advice, products and service. We use industry standard certified sound treated test facilities and equipment and we will always offer the latest hearing technology.
We are easily found next to the Remuera public library, a stone's throw from the Remuera shops and close to the Greenlane motorway interchange. We have off-street parking available and are along major bus routes with nearby bus stops in either direction.

- Appointments are generally Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.
- Earlier or later appointments may be available upon request.
- Saturday mornings may be available and are by appointment only.
- Home visits may be available
We have complementary skills in diagnostics and rehabilitation technology respectively and are acknowledged experts in these fields.
About Thomas
Originally from Switzerland, Thomas Müller has over 20 years of experience in the hearing industry and particularly enjoys challenges and opportunities that leverage his expertise in the field.
Thomas chose to settle in New Zealand in 1989 and joined a major audiology retail clinic to extend his knowledge of various brands and makes of hearing aid technology.
Music has always been a significant personal interest and as a result of his experience in hearing technology, Thomas was well aware of the negative long-term effects of his exposure to loud music on his own hearing. Basing himself in Auckland, Thomas established Acoustix Hearing Technologies in 2004 and from there has used his expertise to setup ‘Don’t Lose The Music’ an initiative to encourage use of good quality hearing protection for musicians, audio engineers, VJs, DJs and those who enjoy live music or club-going.
