About LOMIPEAU
Lomipeau is New Zealand’s South Island Pacific Provider Collective (SIPPC), responsible for delivering culturally appropriate health and social services to the Pacific populations of Te Wai Pounamu (South Island). Established in November 2012, geographically Lomipeau is the largest health collective in the country.

Working for the benefit of all communities, as a Collective we deliver standardised, high quality services while embracing our differences. Pacific people benefit from the Collective, with easier access to services, culturally safe and appropriate services designed for Pacific people, and multiple services to meet the multiple complex needs of our Pacific families.
Our communities are growing, and with this comes increasing demands to provide services that meet the needs of our Pacific people. Challenges include health and social issues, including barriers to accessing services, gaps in services and overcrowding in homes. A healthy, safe home is paramount; when the home environment is right, everything flourishes from it.
The key role of SIPPC is to support and develop the health and social service providers in the South Island. Collaboration enables us to share resources and make a collective effort to transform lives and serve our communities. Providers benefit by being part of the collective, through resource and knowledge sharing, collaboration and lifting the standard of service delivery.

The short-term goal of the SIPPC is to strengthen South Island Pacific providers. Long-term, the aim is to improve the health and social wellbeing of South Island-based Pacific communities. Our collective includes eleven organisations - Pacific Trust Canterbury, Vaka Tautua, Tangata Atumotu Trust, Pacific Island Evaluation, Fale Pasifika ‘o Aoraki, Pacific Trust Otago, Pacific Island Advisory & Cultural Trust, Nelson Bays Primary Health Trust, Nelson Tasman Pasifika Community Trust, Malborough Pacific Trust and Kimi Hauora Wairau Marlborough PHO.
