Dole Food Company, Inc is committed to supplying customers with the finest, high quality products and to leading the industry in nutrition research and education. In keeping with this sentiment, Dole in New Zealand supports and assists both national and local community organisations where appropriate. This support comes in the form of financial donations to organisations such as 5+ a Day®, fresh fruit and equipment to sporting events, and even having our own people roll up their sleeves at fundraisers! Dole Supports 5+ A Day®

Dole's contribution enables 5+ A Day® work to continue promoting the consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables for better health, taste, and variety.

Hamilton 400 V8 Supercars (15th-17th April 2011)

The Hamilton 400 is an annual V8 supercars race through the streets of Hamilton. The event is now the largest sporting event in New Zealand so it is a great family day out.

Graperide (2nd April 2011)

For those of you who are new to The Forrest Grape Ride, the long course traverses a 101km circuit through some of the most stunning scenery New Zealand has to offer.

Pukete Spaghetti (27th February 2011)

The Pukete Spaghetti mountain bike race was held on the 27th February. With 400 entrants, and 60 children entrants, the race demanded 6 hours of single track racing for teams or solo riders at Hamilton Mountain Bike Club's Pukete Farm Park track.

Armstrong Motor Group Festival of Cycling (4th and 5th December 2010)

In December every year the Armstrong Festival Of Cycling sees more than 1500 riders taking on the feature 80 kilometre Harbour Ride.

Marlborough New World Marathon (4th December 2010)

The start and finish is set virtually in the middle of Blenheim and surrounded by the beautifully manicured Seymour Square gardens. Within just a few kilometres of the start you will be able to appreciate the stunning countryside and vineyards of New Zealand's wine growing capital.

Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge (27th November 2010)

The Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge is New Zealand's premier cycling event - a total of 12 different cycling events based around Lake Taupo. It's the third largest cycling event in the Southern Hemisphere!

Caltex Tour of the Bay (18th October 2010)

The Caltex Tour of The Bay Cyclethon is one of Hawke's Bays' largest single sports event with 1700-1800 riders participating.

Day Night Thriller Taupo (11th September 2010)

This unique, exhilarating mountain bike (MTB) relay event was the largest MTB event in New Zealand last year with over 3,000 riders.

Kidney Health Education Fun Book

Dole supports Kidney Health New Zealand by publishing a 'Dole Fun Page' in the Kidney Fun Book. These booklets get distributed throughout all the main local hospitals as well as hospitals on a national level for the enjoyment of the hospitalised and sick children throughout New Zealand.
